About Me

My name is Tessa Karle, and I am a third year Classical Major at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington. I am originally from Canberra, Australia, and have been dancing for most of my life. 2020 is my final year of training before I set out to find a job in a ballet company, but given the way this year has turned out, this will be much more challenging than it already was going to be. I decided to create this blog so that I have a platform to share what I am going through, my thoughts, and what I am learning through the experiences that living away from my family and training to be a ballet dancer is giving me.
